How to get the most out of your coaching experience

​

Coaching is an investment of your time and money into your self, your life and your future.

I will challenge and inspire you to think in new ways about what is possible in your life and help expand your awareness to access a deeper level of learning and personal growth.

I will help empower you to choose better responses and outcomes so you can achieve your goals.

 

Coaching asks certain things of you, the client, to achieve a successful outcome. All of which begin with ‘focused intention’. Without focus and intention, the coaching session can simply end up being a conversation and most likely will not be of value as it should be.

The coaching experience focuses on YOU, the client. 

Are you ready?

​

  • To be open and curious;

  • Challenge existing attitudes, limiting or assumptive beliefs and behaviours and develop new ones that serve your greater purpose;

  • Explore the tough questions, hard truths and your successes;

  • Be willing to observe different behaviours and the communication of others;

  • Observe and tap into your own intuition, assumptions, judgements and to hear yourself speak;

  • Leverage your personal strengths and overcome limitations to develop your success style;

  • Take decisive action, however uncomfortable or whatever personal insecurities arise, to reach for the extraordinary;

  • Be compassionate towards yourself while learning new behaviours or experiencing setbacks;

  • Choose to evolve as you move forward and show the same compassion to others as they do the same;

  • Sometimes it can be hard to laugh at yourself and not take life so seriously. See the humour in your situation. No matter how dark it gets, show a sense of humour to lighten and brighten your mood;    

  • In the face of disappointment or unmet expectations stay true to who you are. Feel your feelings and; pause, reflect, respond;

  • Have the courage to reach for more than before whilst continuing to engage in self-examination without fear.

As your coach, I will

  • Give you my undivided time and attention, and ask powerful questions to generate a sense of possibility within you;

  • Enable you to discover and share more about your experience of your story (in truthfulness, not volume);

  • Help you find your voice and resolve issues that are important to you, using your own story;

  • By the end of a session, help you have a greater belief in yourself, feel freer and able to make more progress;

  • Help you realise what you want, why it is important and how you want to move forward, without me providing you with the answers.
